During the relaunch in 2007, in the course of which colour photographs were included for the first time, the conducting of extensive tests with various font families resulted in the decision being made to remain with Times, but to modify the existing fonts: the text font was to be more lightweight in order to ensure improved readability on one hand (even in poor lighting conditions) and to create a noble appearance with the light colour of the type area that almost had a silver appearance on the other. With the demibold headline font, the x-height was slightly reduced and the proportions were harmonised with each other, so as to provide it with greater compactness and stability despite the narrow character spacing.
